JBC
Little is much when God is in it ...
... so testifies a church that had her start as a mission church [1954] in Chicago
by a determined Kentucky preacher with a desire to minister to his fellow Kentuckians
who had moved further North for work and better opportunities.
What started as a simple, storefront meeting place with a handful of people
soon grew and led to a newly built, suburban church with a much larger body and outreach.
This building, in which we meet, still stands as a visible testimony
to the devotion of many dearly departed saints, ...
... but these Southern "strangers" established more than a solidly built building,
rather they served as a sending station to reach their "new" home community for Christ.
Over the years, various ministries and bus routes were started
to provide more opportunities to reach out into our community
and to continue to build a strong, local body of believers,
who still meet together today!

JBC is wonderful (church) family
with a "goodly heritage"
from which, today, there continues to be a great opportunity
to serve an awesome Savior!
GOD's PLAN of SALVATION
HERE IS WHAT ONE NEEDS TO KNOW FROM GOD's WORD
TO BE 100%, FOR SURE THAT ONE WILL BE IN HEAVEN:
SITUATION
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
ALL are LOVED, SACRIFICIALLY.
Realize that God loves everyone, including you.
SATURATION
Romans 3:23
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
ALL are GUILTY, SPECIFICALLY.
Realize that everyone is a sinner.
SEPARATION
Romans 6:23a
23 For the wages of sin is death;...
ALL will PAY, DEARLY.
Realize that sin has a price that must be paid.
SOLUTION
Romans 6:23b
23 … but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
ALL is PAID, COMPLETELY.
Realize that Jesus Christ paid the price of everyone’s sin.
SALVATION
Romans 10:13
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
ALL can HAVE, ASSUREDLY.
Repent of your sin and place your trust in and on
Jesus Christ by specifically asking Him
to forgive you so that you may have eternal life.
How does one “call on the name of the Lord?”
How does one receive this “gift of eternal life?”
Romans 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
One can receive this gift of being saved or salvation through a heart-felt prayer …
… PERSONALLY asking God to forgive one who is a sinner …
…and willfully accepting His payment for one’s own sin
by His death, burial, and resurrection on one’s behalf.
If you have just trusted Christ, we would love to rejoice with you!
Please tell us your story. Thank you!
